WHEN SHOULD I TAKE PECTASOL?

PectaSol should be taken apart from food (30 minutes before or 1.5 hours after) to maximize absorption.

HOW MUCH PECTASOL SHOULD I TAKE?

For best results, take PectaSol at an active dose of 15 grams per day. Active dose (max. level support) is 5 grams three times per day. Maintenance dose (min. level support) is 5 grams one time per day.

As a dietary supplement, for maximum support, take one 5 gram scoop 3 times daily with liquid on an empty stomach, or as recommended by your health care practitioner. For long term maintenance, take one 5 gram scoop per day with liquid on an empty stomach, or as recommended by your health care practitioner.

We offer three ways to take PectaSol, all offer the same benefits and the form you take is all based on personal preference! If capsules aren’t your thing, we have tangerine flavored chewables, unflavored powder and a lime-infused powder.

WHAT IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO DISSOLVE PECTASOL POWDER INTO LIQUID?

Put one 5 gram scoop of PectaSol into your glass. Add your liquid (water, juice, tea or coffee). Water is best, but some people do use other liquids, such as juice. It's best to stir immediately upon adding the liquid and even better solubility results may be seen if using warm liquid. Unflavored Modified Citrus Pectin has a very mild, bland taste.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO STORE PECTASOL?

PectaSol can be stored in a cool, dry place; it is not necessary to store it in the refrigerator. PectaSol is a very stable material, and can withstand temperatures up to 120 degrees F.

No, PectaSol Modified Citrus Pectin does not contain pectin from grapefruits.

WHAT PECTINS ARE USED TO MAKE PECTASOL?

PectaSol Modified Citrus Pectin is a professional-grade natural product derived from the pith of citrus fruit peels, including lemons, limes and oranges. PectaSol does not contain pectin from grapefruits or Seville oranges. PectaSol undergoes very precise changes in its structure through a proprietary pH and heat-controlled enzymatic process, to produce the only proven effective form of Modified Citrus Pectin.

CAN I GIVE PECTASOL TO MY CAT OR DOG?

Yes, cats and dogs can take the unflavored powder, we recommend against giving them Lime-Fusion because it contains stevia. Average, mid-sized dogs may take 1 scoop daily. Cats should take only ½ scoop or less, as they are smaller. This can be put in their water dish.

WHY DOES PECTASOL CONTAIN HIGHER LEVELS OF SODIUM & POTASSIUM?

The sodium and potassium ratio in PectaSol is carefully controlled and balanced to resemble the naturally occurring ratio, and is acceptable for most individuals. If you are on a sodium or potassium restricted diet, it is advised that you consult your healthcare provider.

Research has shown no toxicity in short or long term use. Since PectaSol is a dietary fiber, some individuals may experience loose stools at the start of use. Although there are no known drug interactions with PectaSol, it is recommended that it be taken separately from other medications. In the production of PectaSol, the ratio of sodium to potassium is carefully controlled to resemble the ratio naturally present. People with a health condition requiring the restriction of potassium or sodium should consult their health care provider before using this product.
